Product Name : PrimaPure™, Porcine Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cell Culture Kit
Porcine large artery endothelial cells are derived from healthly, plaque free porcine. Arterial endothelial cells play critical roles in cardiac homeostasis, and insults to the endothelial cells have been linked to a variety of vascular diseases.
- Positive for uptake of acetylated low-density lipoprotein
- Negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi
- Cryopreserved at first passage
- Can be cultured and propagated at least 16 population doublings
This Porcine Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cell (PPAEC) system have been used as a viable alternative for the study of artery endothelial function and metabolism, such as atherosclerosis, relaxing factor synthesis, antioxidant enzyme activities, etc
Storage: Store cryopreserved vials in liquid nitrogen, growth medium at 4 °C in dark, subculture reagent kit at -20 °C and the reagents at 4 °C upon thawing.
Co-culture of the artery endothelial cells with species-matched smooth muscle cells provides an ideal model for studying the interaction between these two cell types.
Delivery information: Each kit contains an ampoule of cryopreserved PPAEC, 500 mL of Porcine Endothelial Cell Growth Medium, and a Subculture Reagent Kit (including 100 mL each of HEPES Buffered Saline Solution, trypsin/EDTA, and trypsin neutralizing solution).
